The extension needs desktop Chrome 138 or newer with Chrome's built-in AI. The first use downloads the on-device model once; keep Chrome open until the download finishes.
A video has no transcript.
On-device audio transcription needs a GPU. Music-only or silent videos have no speech to transcribe, so only the post text is summarized.
How do I delete saved summaries?
Open the extension's settings and choose "Clear saved summaries", or remove the extension.
